Cluny Wildlife Trust is a non government organization  promoting conservation of Malawi's wildlife and habitat offering advanced, individualized volunteer opportunities in environmental conservation and community development. The Likoma Island Project offers the skilled volunteer or graduate student the opportunity to contribute to development and enrichment of a community and nature reserve. Focus volunteer projects include but are not limited to:                                                        

The Conservation of the Makungwa Village Forest Area

• Forestry, resource and animal inventories

• Tree seedling planting

The Improvement of Livelihoods of Rural People through the Promotion of Tourism on Likoma Island

• Community & human resource development

• Building renovation
